I’m Anthony Abbott — a writer, software developer, and lifelong learner.
I build tools that help people think more clearly and work more effectively. Over the years, I’ve developed software for business, taught programming, studied philosophy, and written both fiction and nonfiction. My current work includes developing the Contracts Finder app (alongside my illustrious colleage Andy Marden), building my personal knowledge system (Auxiliary Brain), and writing a novel called Angus Wildblood.
Much of what I do explores the intersection of structure and creativity — how systems can support original thinking rather than stifle it.
When I’m not working, I’m often walking, reading, or testing new ways to make sense of the world — ideally with a strong cup of tea in hand.
